How It Works

Enzymes

Enzymes are living substances that regulate health and work with certain minerals in the body to form a natural system of antioxidants that fight corrosive free radicals. They can remove dead protein, toxins and other waste from the epidermis using a process called ‘reverse osmosis’.

Reverse Osmosis is a “back-flushing” action that forces fluids through the membrane around the cells, leaving a clean, clear, toxin-free skin structure. Enzymes also initiate free water levels within the skin gaining the desired balance for those suffering from transepidermal water loss.

Our enzymes help the skin through messengers that stimulate an immediate response at the dermal level. They don’t actually penetrate the dermis, instead they activate it. This is important for collagen and elastin formation.

Lymphatic Drainage

The lymphatic system is the filtering system for the blood. It consists of a network of lymph nodes, lymph and lymph vessels found throughout the body including the face and neck. Special formulated enzymes act on the lymph nodes to encourage a drainage action that expels toxins and impurities and is felt as a tightening and pulsating of the masque.

These therapies contain the amino acids Proline, Glycine and Lysine to stimulate fibroblast cell activity which is responsible for the new collagen fibers. As a result, you may notice the plasmatic effect, (read more about this in the next section) this is lymphatic drainage in action. As the mask sets over the course of 45 minutes, it tightens the skin gradually, promoting a rush of fresh new oxygenated blood from within the skin.

Plasmatic Effect

As the blood vessels and lymph nodes respond to the actions induced by the enzyme treatment, a peculiar effect occurs known as the Plasmatic Effect.

The Plasmatic Effect is an indication that homeostasis has been established in the skin cells. What you see in the accompanying image is the effect of the Enzyme Masque after an enzyme treatment. The lines disappear after about 20 minutes.

The enzyme treatment promotes a new rush of fresh oxygenated blood from within the skin due to the dilated capillaries.

You can see this effect on the skin of the neck and face following an enzyme treatment. The capillaries stand out like a road map-proving the effects of the enzymes treatment goes deep enough for total dilation of the peripheral capillaries. This is true oxygen therapy that delivers real results.

Muscle Banding

Muscle banding works by sending signals to contract the muscles of the face and neck. This is can be integrated seamlessly during a treatment.

Muscle banding is like lifting weights at the gym to strengthen and tone the muscles of the body. Lifting weights causes the muscles to contract which increases blood circulation and builds stronger, firmer muscle tissue.

What this means for your skin is a tighter, firmer, more healthy and glowing complexion without sagging jowls. Tighter skin also means that wrinkles, creases or fine lines will be greatly reduced leaving a smoother texture behind.
