Orthopedics

We use utilize Regenerative Medicine techniques and options to help with athletic injuries, degenerative pain, and other painful conditions.

Regenerative Medicine

Regenerative Medicine therapies are outpatient procedures used to help with acute or chronic pain conditions related to an injury or degenerative disease. They involve an injection of your own platelets and/or concentrated growth factors. All of these options work to regenerate and heal injured or degenerated joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments or lumbar spine discs. We have been able to provide excellent outcomes in helping with all but the most severe orthopedic injuries.

All procedures are performed under the guidance of live ultrasound or fluoroscopy to maximize results. We work with the highest standard biotechnology companies to help us obtain optimal results.

We make every effort to ensure your comfort and positive experience. A variety of options are available to help you relax, be safe and comfortable during your treatment. A board certified anesthesiologist and a nurse direct your anesthetic care and monitor you throughout the entire procedure.

Healing Options

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) or Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM)

Platelets circulate in the bloodstream and are responsible for blood clotting and initiating a healing response in acute injuries when concentrated.

Exosomes

Exosomes are small particles containing high concentrations of growth stimulating chemical messengers. They are derived from human placental cells with properties that decrease inflammation and scar formation.

We only use Exosomes from Kimera Labs in Miramar, Florida. Kimera Labs has developed cell-free exosomes in a quality driven, FDA inspected laboratory. We use an isolated, xeno-free, chemically defined, cell-free placental MSC derived exosome re-suspended in 0.9% normal saline. Each lot is quantified by NanoSight. Unlike other laboratories, Kimera goes above and beyond FDA requirements for viral testing. They test for Zika, CMV, EBV,  Hepatitis E, HBV, HCV, HIV, HHV6, HHV7, HHV8, HSV1&2, HTLV1, HTLV2, BKV, and Norovirus AFTER MANUFACTURE, under quarantine, and prior to release. As with any other tissue bank, they test the donor mother's serum for HIV, HTLV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, and CMV. Exosomes are responsible for all cellular communication throughout the human body.

Alpha 2 Macroglobulin (A2M)

A naturally occurring molecule found in the blood, which when administered in concentrated doses, acts as a powerful protector against cartilage breakdown.

Storz Acoustic Wave Therapy

Treats pain, scar tissue, and calcification. It also helps relax tightened muscles.
